WHO WE ARE
RICHARD GOLD
Founder and Principal
As a teenager Rich worked for his father at Gold Graphics, an advertising and manufacturing company in North Hollywood that specialized in supporting Fortune 500 companies in their marketing needs. Exxon, Union 76, Public Storage, The Academy Awards, The Grammy Awards, World Cup Soccer, Paramount Studios, NASCAR and the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics where just a few notable accounts.
While working at Gold Graphics, Rich had the life changing experience of apprenticing with a world class industrial engineer using time and motion study techniques . He learned first hand how to observe and apply effectiveness and efficiency to actions in both physical and virtual spaces.
After attending college at UCLA, Rich began his career in real estate in the 1980's selling homes in the San Fernando valley and the west side of Los Angeles. After a short stint with local Beverly Hills icon Marty Trugman Real Estate, Rich joined White House Properties, one of the first "rent a desk" real estate offices in the country. Within a few years time, he formed his own brokerage Rich Gold Real Estate. The company grew to 200 agents and employees with divisions specializing in residential, commercial, investment sales, retail/restaurant/entertainment leasing, site selection and mortgage banking.
Gold was first introduced to investment real estate when a client whom he was representing in a residential sale asked him to help raise money on a 20,000 sq ft office building he was purchasing for rehab in Houston Texas. Not only did Rich raise most of the money, but several years later he sold the building for the client at a substantial profit. The buyer's of the building then in turn asked Rich to list, and subsequently sell their 20 unit apartment in West Los Angeles. From this first hand exposure to the apartment market, Rich recognized the pent up need for new construction of apartments in Los Angeles. He approached a business associate (Haskel Iny) about building apartment buildings. Haskel and his team were building small office buildings in Los Angeles at the time and decided to give the idea a go.
The pair found 3 sites on Overland, Vinton, and Woodbine Streets in the Palms area of west Los Angeles. Financing was tight and the buildings weren't pretty but the numbers worked and two of the buildings were built and sold to Arnold Schwarzenegger, a sharp local real estate investor who later went on to become governor of CA as we all know.
The proceeds from the sale of those buildings led to the construction of nearly 2000 units throughout the Los Angeles area.
Fast forwarding through the many years of ups and downs of the real estate market. Over the last 3 decades, Mr. Gold has acted as principal, developer, advisor, intermediary and investment banker on projects totally over 2 billion dollars and spanning almost most every product category.
Currently as an investor, developer and advisor he works with some of the most important private equity investors and sovereign wealth funds in the world including a private family trust with over 4 billion in liquidity.
With a vast network of relationships earned over numerous decades in business, Mr. Gold is known as the “shark tank” of real estate with massive off market deal flow and the rare ability to instantly determine if a deal merits further interest .
Rich gets pitched deals for a living..... “You won’t always get a yes , but you will get a timely and insightful response.”
PETRINA OLSON

Petrina has worked closely with Mr Gold for the last decade on a number of long term technology development and Real Estate projects. She began her career in New York working for Jennings & Company Marketing and Public Relations followed by a move to the west coast and a position with Burson Marstellar Public Relations in San Francisco.
After taking some time off for family, she then decided to follow her passion for movement and dance and return to school to pursue a second Bachelor's degree in Dance Arts. After graduation, she opened her own contemporary dance studio and performance space in Las Vegas called Threshold Dance Theater. Threshold was the first and only arts entity of it's kind in Las Vegas with a performance space, a resident professional company and a studio that offered classes in contemporary dance for all levels and a specialized movement program for autistic children.
A number of years later Petrina met Mr. Gold in Las Vegas and he asked her to join him in working on a entrepreneurial creative technology project he had in mind as he wanted to take a break from what he predicted would be a crashing real estate market. They worked together from late 2009 until 2016 on 100XTV Video Productions and subsequently the development of the Follow Up Pro web application. In 2016, upon completion of the Follow Up Pro project, Mr Gold felt the Real Estate market had sufficiently recovered so he returned his focus Real Estate and asked Petrina to work with him.
Petrina works on transaction coordination, LOI's, purchase agreements, fee agreements, site research, proposals and project presentations. Through her work experience she has developed extensive creative skills in project management, graphic design, photography, videography, and web design and her years in public relations have honed her writing and copy editing skills. She is a licensed Real Estate salesperson in Nevada.
